And yes… we took out the big one! Franchisee of the Year! 🎉

THE INSIDER SECRETS EVERY BUYER SHOULD KNOW:

1️⃣ The Pet & Kid Factor: If you have pets (especially cats or dogs with claws) or a busy young family, Cut Pile is usually the safest bet. Loop piles risk getting nasty pulls or snags from claws and toys. However, if you love the texture of a loop, choose a smaller, tighter loop to reduce the risk of pulled fibres!

2️⃣ Tracking & Flattening: If you hate seeing footprints or vacuum marks (known as tracking), Loop Pile is your best friend because it hides them completely! On the flip side, the heavier and plusher a Cut Pile is, the more those lines will show. Loop piles are also incredibly hard-wearing and won't flatten out as easily in heavy-traffic zones, whereas a long cut pile can get squashed down over time.

3️⃣ Specific Needs Matter:
For mobility (e.g., wheelchairs): Stick to a lower-weight loop pile with a direct-stick installation so wheels don't sink.
For easy vacuuming: Avoid very long, high piles if pushing a heavy vacuum is a challenge. A shorter, denser pile is much easier to maintain.
The "Empty Nest" Reward: Once the kids have moved out and the house quietens down, that's your cue to treat yourself to a lush, premium loop pile. You deserve it!

4️⃣ The Underlay Hack: No matter which pile you choose, never skimp on the underlay! Upgrading your underlay can cost as little as an extra $10 per lineal metre and extend the life of your carpet while boosting comfort far more than spending the extra $10 on the carpet itself.

Showroom renovation - August update! 👌

Our soon-to-be new showroom on Ngaumutawa Road is taking shape internally, with framing now up. The interior layout will consist of a new large custom showroom, with offices and storage out the back. ☑

We will keep you posted next month with what progress has been made...
