Hi Coasties!

The epic run of weather is still going, and what a perfect day to hit the beach and drop by the Art Station! There's a great mix of awesome art works gathered together under the roof for this years exhibition. From pottery, sculpture, photography, prints and lighting, there's something for everyone.

Another contributing artist (and Matapouri local) this summer is none other than the very talented Paul Harris! Paul spans many creative genres from painting, sculpture and jewellery. He also curates and runs galleries too! Always looking forward to seeing what he's developing/working on. Paul also makes the most awesome pizza ovens! How talented and diverse can one man be they cried?!

Hi Coasties!

Another amazing artist exhibiting in the Art Station this summer season. Amie Redpath is a Whangarei Heads based sculptor working mainly with stone as well as jewelry. Such stunning work.

We'll be opening on Wednesday the 21st and look forward to welcoming you all over the summer.

Hi all!

We're getting closer to that highly anticipated time of the year again and we're super stoked to say that the gallery will be opening on Wednesday the 21st of December!

We have some amazing new contributing artists to add to Paul Harris's amazing sculpture, design and jewellery, and my own Doug Pearson Photography and Retro Soul Design Lighting.

First of the new contributing artist is the very talented Monica Krey ceramicist! Monica's organic works are all hand formed, no potters wheel and are fired at her home studio up in the heights of Parahaka. I've already collected several of Monica's works and will more than likely be adding more of her beautiful pieces to the growing collection!

We'll be unveiling more artists in the lead up to opening day, so keep checking back in!

We look forward to welcoming you over the summer break, so pop by, say hi, catch up and check out all the new works on offer.

We're located in the old fire station next to the Matapouri hall.
