Announcement!

Due to the challenging economic situation New Zealand is facing at the moment and in order to avoid later disappointment the organizers of the Methven Exhibition & Fete Denise and I (Julia) have made the sad but wise decision to cancel our Event for 2023.

We will evaluate the situation in a few months time for future events.

Full refunds/ deposits will be given to stallholders who have already paid for this year.

We thank you all for your participations in our past events and your understanding. Keep up the great spirits. We will reassess next year.

We also thank our sponsors for their ongoing support.

One of our fabulous stall holders the Wee Smokehouse are thrilled at their award.

Experimentation, recipe development and a lot of taste testing has resulted in Ruapuna farm-based business The Wee Smokehouse taking out gold and silver at the Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards.

Our date due this coming year is now, Sunday the 15th of October. Canterbury Anniversary has moved to the 17th of November most events have also followed. Which has created an event super storm.
