Fabulous day spent in Annabel’s kitchen cooking up a storm!! Each course as delicious as the next. Wonderful memories

Saved the best for last! A fabulous morning spent with at the famous Bergerac market. We met on the Church steps at 9am where we had a special surprise meeting , Annabelle’s daughter and well known New Zealand-born writer, and recipe developer. Annabelle chose the best of everything for our demonstration lunch at her beautiful French house. So spoilt!!

A breakfast of crepes and fruit in the courtyard then a visit to a local truffle farm. We met Coco the truffle hunter who was as sweet as truffle jam! Nic was given a truffle to make truffle butter. Yum!! After a lunch at home and a dip in the neighbours chateau pool we headed off to a w**e tasting in the Dordogne area at Wessman then a 7 course meal at l’atelier in one of the most beautiful villages. A big day!
