Green Planet has some great seasonal job opportunities over the busy packing season – We are looking for reliable staff to join us for the whole season from January/February until June/July.

We are after someone who:

- Is positive and enjoys working within a team
- Can commit to the entire season from January until the end of June
- Can work 6-day weeks and long days
- Is quick thinking and willing to learn in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- Is reliable and punctual
- Has great people and communication skills
- Knowledge of the apple and packing industry is favorable but not necessary. Training will be provided
- Has their own form of transport to and from work

We have varying position available for the 2020 season. Some of the available positions:

- Line Supervisor – Working on our packing lines, managing staff and working closely with the packhouse manger
- Quality Control (PI) – Maintaining a high quality of product
- Coolstore Assistant – Assisting the Coolstore Manager with bin submissions and placements, load outs, transfers and exporting
- Yard Supervisor/Assistant – Assisting the Yard Manager with bin submissions and cool storage, bin movements, processed load outs, transfers and general running of the yard.
- Packhouse Assistant – Assisting the packhouse manger with the overall running of the lines, operating the machines, and the general running of the packhouse.
- Forklift and Truck Drivers

All Applicants must have New Zealand Residency or hold a Valid New Zealand Work Visa.
