📢 ATTENTION FELLOW HAWKE'S BAY & NZ SMALL BUSINESSES / PAGE ADMINS! 📢

Please watch out for a highly targeted phishing scam hitting local business emails right now.
We received a very official-looking email (see the screenshots below) claiming that our page is under review for "Trademark Rights" and intellectual property violations.

This is 100% a fake scam. They use a clever psychological formula to try and hijack your account:
1️⃣ The Scare: They claim you broke legal rules.
2️⃣ The Urgency: They threaten that your page features and distribution will be limited if you don't act fast.
3️⃣ The Trap: They give you a big blue "Review Content" button that leads to a fake login page designed to steal your Facebook password.

Important safety reminders for business pages:
Real Meta/Facebook restrictions will always show up inside your actual Facebook app settings under your Support Inbox, never solely via a random email button.
Always check the sender's actual email address field—scammers hide behind fake names but the actual address will look suspicious.
