I hope everyone is having a great week! Happy Birthday to our gorgeous Julie who is celebrating a very special birthday today 🎉. How is it almost Friday?! We have been getting gorgeous deliveries all week and will have everything unpacked and loaded sooooon ~ bare with us while Julie is away celebrating and I have been flying solo apart from lovely Lucy popping in after school to help out! One of my favourite new arrivals is this gorgeous Morris Pink Honeysuckle Tote ~ the perfect bag for running errands, library visits or a little retail therapy xx

Good Morning! Another invigorating start to the day but no frost surprisingly for how cold it feels. I love to collect sweet vintage bud vases, especially if they are cut glass or crystal. They are especially useful at this time of the year when you have the joy of finding a late rose bloom or for popping sweet spring daffs into. This rose is gorgeous Nancy Heywood, it’s the most incredible pinky red and is wonderfully scented too.

Quite a lovely story behind this one too ~ many years ago when our wonderful local garden centre very sadly closed down Frank went along to the auction and bought about 6 roses for $2 each as they were missing their labels. We planted this one in front of the verandah and waited for it to flower discovering it was this incredible colour and I had to research which rose it was. We have mostly white planting out the front of the house but I decided on keeping it there as it’s such a great bloomer and fragrance through our front bedroom windows in Summer and a wonderful welcome when you arrive home when it’s in full bloom xx
