At The Ocean Lodge, we believe holding a liquor licence comes with responsibilities that go well beyond simply complying with the law.
We are experienced hospitality operators, and we understand that alcohol can have a positive place in our community when enjoyed responsibly, but we also recognise the very real harm that can occur through alcohol misuse and abuse.
We want to make it clear that if anyone in our local community has concerns about alcohol-related harm, irresponsible drinking, or issues they believe we should be aware of, we genuinely welcome you to reach out and talk to us.
We don't claim to have all the answers, but we do believe that being part of the solution starts with listening, communicating and being proactive.
We are committed to working constructively with our community, local organisations and authorities to help minimise alcohol-related harm wherever we can.
Most importantly, we recognise the responsibility that comes with holding a liquor licence — both legally and morally.
