I always had big dreams for Gina’s Garden when we moved here. I just wasn’t sure how we were going to bring them to life.
Over the next 18 months we are going to make some big changes to the garden. While I am super excited it means saying goodbye to a few flowers we love.
So let’s make the most of one last spring filled with Daffodils, Ranunculus and Peonies 🌼
If you have fallen in love with our spring blooms, you will have a chance to take a little piece of Gina’s Garden home when we offer some of our collection for sale.
Here’s to one last Spring, and always coming up with new plans!

Ok… there were so many people interested in a dahlia workshop that I think it’s time we lock one in… or maybe even two?! 🎉

We’ll keep the groups small and spend the afternoon talking all things dahlias – growing from seed, dividing tubers, and general care to help you grow beautiful blooms.

We even have a brand new table in the garden ready to host everyone. 🌸

What do you think about late August or September? It works nicely after hockey season and is much closer to planting time.

Who’s keen? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Winter has truely set in ❄️
The garden is surrounded by fog this morning and the dahlias have had a couple of frosts.
I’m thinking of lifting the dahlias this year and trying to arrange them by colour.
If I do lift them, who would be interested in coming to a dahlia dividing workshop??? We could start some seedlings and send you home with a bunch of tubers you can’t get anywhere else. Who’s keen? 🙋‍♀️

It’s been raining all long weekend and I’ve been struggling with nothing to do… so I tackled the garden shed.

Turns out I may have a slight problem. 😂

Apparently I’ve been collecting:
📦 good boxes
🌱 seedling trays
🪴 far too many pots
🐑 wool mat from MyFoodBag boxes
🌼 seed heads and dried flowers
🥚 and a suspicious number of egg cartons… even though we don’t have chickens.

I never thought of myself as a hoarder… but after tidying the shed, I might need to reconsider.

Help me feel better about my collections. What do you keep just in case?

A little Mother’s Day treat at the gate today 🌸

We’ve made up 20 small posies from the very last of our autumn flowers. They’re not perfect, but they’re sweet, seasonal, and too lovely not to share.

You can keep them simple or add foliage from your garden at home to make a bouquet.

You will find them at our gate, 12 Fairfield Street, Brightwater. Please leave a gold coin donation in the box and leave the jars behind.

First in, first served 💛

Our Pick-Your-Own season returns in Spring/Summer, and vouchers are available now as easy e-delivery.

I can’t believe our PYO flower season is almost over 🌸
If you’ve been meaning to visit, this is your sign. We only have TWO Saturdays left.

The second flush of dahlias are just hitting their stride, so there’s still plenty to pick and enjoy.
