Who are you??
COLOUR came for the pretty and stayed because it worked.
PLANET has been doing this for years and just needs it to do the job.
GIFTING is solving a tricky brief for someone with opinions.
HOOKED got one, then two, fell for all the products and now keeps spares for herself and for whoever's birthday she forgot.

So.... COLOUR, PLANET, GIFTING or HOOKED? Tell me below 👇 Would I have guessed right??

I’ve been a physio and Pilates teacher for over 2 decades. Cleaning shouldn’t leave you needing a physio appointment afterwards.

I have realised after selling cleaning cloths for 10 years that I can add a lot of value to this space and suggest changes that can make surprisingly big differences to your body.

Spring seemed the right time to finally write this down!!!

I’ve decided I have a lot more to say than this so if you find these hacks helpful comment SPRING and I’ll pop my favourite tips into a larger guide. The type of guide that makes you go ….“why didn’t I think of that”.

It’s Spring! Let’s find the grime.
September 1st means it’s officially time to open the windows, let some fresh air in… and discover all the places we’ve conveniently ignored since last Spring 😬

When did you last clean your:

Towel Rail
Top of Fridge
Plants (fake and real)
Stools and Chair legs
Back of TV
Light Shades

Or your ….
Rangehood filter
Window tracks
Washing machine seal
Dishwasher filter
Behind the couch
Vacuum filter
Tops of cupboards
Skirting boards
Shower drain
Under the toaster

No need to attack the whole house today. Pick ONE forgotten spot and call that a spring-cleaning win.

And if your cleaning cloth drawer could do with a spring refresh too… I happen to know a place 😉

Happy first day of spring, NZ! x

There’s a lot going on in my little world this week.

Dear friends have lost mums and dads. Friends parents and kids are really sick. My kids are away at sports tournaments. The cat is apparently giving up sleep altogether. And today marks 14 years since I lost my sister.

Life feels a bit full.

So rather than trying to say anything profound, I thought I’d share some of the cute little things in my store that make me smile every time I see them

There are new things coming, lots happening behind the scenes & amongst all the messy life stuff I’m feeling really grateful for the people around me and for all the support and love you keep showing this lil business of mine.

Sometimes the small happy things really do help.

Big hugs to anyone else having a full week too xx

Puzzle me this. Effort goes into making fun and engaging content. I sell dishcloths and handkerchiefs. So part of my job is to create pun filled fun content to entertain you about products that you may consider boring.
So here I am. Standing in front of my workshop wondering if you find this at all interesting.

Like this to let me know if you saw it. Experiment starts … NOW 💥

Whenever I travel I trrry to pack light BUT a must for me is finding multi-purpose items that do more than one job.

These SOON TO LAUNCH incredible linen scarves that double duty as a sarong are made locally here in Nelson.

Wrap it around your neck in all seasons, drape it over your shoulders, wear it as a lightweight shawl or use it as an easy summer cover-up. Generously sized and effortlessly versatile, it’s one of those pieces you’ll reach for again and again.

Made from linen with a naturally textured, softly crinkled finish, it only gets softer and more relaxed with every wash. A timeless accessory for yourself, and a lovely gift too.

Size
Approx. 200 x 70 cm

Good to know
I named the scarves MODO to match their modular multi-purpose use. Good design, great material and a versatile scarf to make it the hero you reach for when heading to the beach, travelling or enjoying gorgeously soft linen next to your skin on the daily.

🚨 LIVE this Thursday 7pm.

Limited to 8 of each colourway.
6 different weaves. Each comes in its own box for gifting (yes including yourself).

One of my favourite things in the workshop isn’t actually something I sell...
It’s the props.

Over the years I’ve learnt that people rarely buy the thing they don’t understand. But if they can see it, imagine using it or gifting it, suddenly the conversation starts.

A bottle of wine wrapped in a SPRUCE dishcloth instead of gift wrap.

My resin corn cob tissue dispenser with a HANK (it starts so many “team hanky vs team tissue” debates

A tea towel wrapped around a bottle or book instead of single-use wrapping paper.
They’re all little conversation starters.

Customers ask questions.
They pick things up.
They imagine giving them as gifts.
And that’s often the moment they decide to take one home.

If you own a shop, don’t underestimate the power of showing products in real life. Sometimes the best salesperson is simply a clever display.
And if you’re a customer... hopefully this gives you a few ideas for wrapping gifts a little differently this year.

Less waste. More creativity.

What’s the best display or prop you’ve ever seen in a shop that made you stop and look?
