📵⚠️ There has been a wildly increasing number of scams going on recently and we are seeing several customers a week who have been scammed! ⚠️📵

Known scams include:

📲 Spark/OneNZ/2degrees: Scammers convincing you that you have internet and network issues to try and take control of your computer or phone and gain access to your personal information.

📮 NZ Post/Aramex/NZ Couriers freight scams wanting your to pay import taxes or freight on parcels that do not exist, trying to gain access to your credit/debit card numbers and internet banking details.

🌐 Website phishing: NZTA for car/licence registration renewals, internet banking. These sites pretend to be the legitimate site and coax you into providing details including credit/debit card numbers and internet banking logins.

💰 Cryptocurrency investment: We would all love to make money for nothing but if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!

Scammers love to use technical lingo, and persuasive tactics to get hold of your personal data and money. If you don't know these people in person, hang up and block them. We can inspect your device and provide a scam report for your bank if you have been a victim of a scam.
