CAN YOU HELP US - GABBY'S CHRISTMAS HAMPER ACT OF KINDNESS

Each year we gift Gabby Christmas Hampers to Taranaki Base Hospital Paediatric Social Workers & Public Health Community Nurses to gift to families they work with and also to each family that is on Starship Child Cancer Ward on Christmas Day & Taranaki Base Hospital Children's Ward.

The feedback we get from the staff that hand out these Christmas Hampers & families is so special and showed these hampers make a huge impact.

'Delivering these Christmas Hampers to families is my favourite thing to do. Seeing the tears in their eyes as they accept the beautiful hamper. Thanks so much for providing these to our department for the families we work with.'

'Thank you for the Christmas Hamper that was gifted to our family. Our son has a disability and has ongoing health issues and we have had a really rough year. Receiving this beautiful hamper full of yummy food and baking just made our day. We can't thank you enough.'

'When I delivered the Christmas Hamper to a family their daughter's eyes lit up and said 'Mum, it's Christmas'. Both the Mum and I had tears in our eyes. That family was struggling so much financially and this gift meant so much to them.

'We were in Starship Child Cancer Ward on Christmas Day and we got such a lovely surprise when the nurse brought in your gorgeous Christmas Hamper. We had been having a really tough time emotionally and financially and it was so nice to have someone we didn't know do this lovely act of kindness for us.'

Huge thanks to our lovely friend, Vicki of Goodies for Giving who is putting together these hampers for us and includes her gorgeous baking in them. This is the third year she has done this for us and we can't thank her enough.

We are starting our Christmas Hamper Fundraiser early this year so we can start to buy groceries as they are on special so we can fill the hampers with even more treats.

Thanks to everyone who has sponsored a Christmas Hamper, we have 28 Hampers sponsored already!!!! but there are so many more families that we would love to reach so there is still time to donate to this special fundraiser.

These hampers are gifted to local families with kids with ongoing health problems in the community and also families who are in the Children's Ward over Christmas.

Each year we get so much lovely feedback from families saying how much these hampers meant to them.

Huge thanks to everyone that has sponsored a Christmas hamper. We have 39 Christmas hampers sponsored!!!! There is still time to sponsor a hamper.
Its that time of the year where we find sponsors for our Gabby Christmas Food Hampers which we donate to local Child Cancer families and to the local Children’s Ward to gift out to families who have kids with ongoing health issues or who are on the ward over the Christmas period.
Last year we gifted 50 Christmas Food Hampers and we got such lovely feedback from families who have been through so much with their sick kids and really appreciated this Christmas act of kindness.
This year the hampers are going to be even more special as we are teaming up with Vicki from Goodies for Giving who will be creating amazing Christmas hampers for us which as well as yummy grocery items will also include her gorgeous baked Christmas goodies. This will ensure too that all the hampers are being prepared and put together in a registered kitchen.
