Uncertain times people, hope you are coping ok?
I found during the Pandemic times that people reached out and wanted all manner of things done so I learnt new skills and got the jobs done. Which was a certainty especially for the elderly, during this time also the banks were closing down local branches and we would have customers breaking down and crying because they didnt know what to do they had always paid with cheque or cash.
So constantly giving advice and reassurance.
We became a place for people to not only drop off their repairs but to talk. After all spending an extra 5 mins to listen or to chat whats that worth?
