A fab afternoon with the very talented and creative, Penny, from Penelope Chic NZ, learning her amazing decoupage technique. I learnt so much and created this gorgeous jug with her help and very patient tutoring. Photos taken by Penny, as they are better than mine 😁. This piece was a specially commissioned upcycle for a friend. She loved the decoupaged design in a previous small table I did and asked me to do this cute little table, which belonged to her sister-in-law, for her husband for Christmas, as a keepsake from his sister.

After a drought of several months from crafting and upcycles, I finally dragged these two pieces out of the stash accumulating in my garage, dusted them off and cleaned them up before their ultimate transformation. A beautiful day yesterday at the Puhoi Village Market . The day started off early and was very cold - I'll know to wear something much warmer for next time 🥶! However, the sun came out and the day was stunning! I had a great day overall, a few sales, lots of interest and lovely compliments.
Thanks to everyone who sent me their best wishes for my first market day 😁🌻

Finally, after a very busy few weeks of creativity, I'm finally ready for my first market at Puhoi Village Market tomorrow, 31st of March. Looks like the weather is going to be amazing too!

I've added some pics of what I will be selling on my stall 😁. Special thanks to White Cloud Decor Transfers for their beautiful transfers, which enable an amazing amount of creativity and add a special design touch, and to Dooney & Daughters for their fab and oh so versatile paint products, and range of decoupage and transfers plus everything else you need to create something special. Not to mention their very instructive courses.
