Normally at this time of year we'd have open gates on the weekends for viewing of the roses in bloom. Unfortunately, due to a long recovery from Covid, we can't be open as many hours this season. The gardens are still available to come visit, but please make an appointment first by calling 0212579240. Mornings are preferable.

Look at the sepals on this! They’re almost longer than the petals themselves!
We believe this is a seedling of one our Musk ramblers, and it is not the only one that has grown to a magnificent size, with this one being around 10m wide along a high fence. It has a grand show of orange-red hips in large clusters and tiny recurved points of the petals.

About Us

Trinity Farm is located in Ōtaki, New Zealand and has a large collection of heritage roses in its 3 acre show garden. The garden is a rambling country garden with rose arbours, box hedges, a pond, creek with trees, shrubs and cottage garden perennials. The garden can be visited by members of the public during opening hours in the summer season. The best time to see the garden is Nov-Dec when the roses are in full bloom. We also have a rose nursery with roses we propagate on their own roots (grown from cuttings) as well as other plants we have in the garden. These are for sale via our website. The garden is also available for wedding ceremonies alongside our barn for receptions.
