Karaitiana Hames put on some excellent tunes yesterday in our local town centre and met these lovely people ... see his post below

We put on a koha sausage sizzle and had yummy glazed ham in yummy bread from the lovely Bella Shearman from The Hungry giraffe.

Meet your Explore Christmas 2024 team!

Ingrid de Graaf (Bisset Honda), Louise Flack (Tararua School of Dance), Alaina Sims (Iranui Garden), Jessica Graham (Tone Pilates), Sarah Romanos (Thicket), and Glynis de Castro (Knowledge Holder!) have been putting in the yards to make Christmas happen in our town centre.

Our wonderful team have worked incredibly well together over several months now. It takes hours and hours of meeting, organising, and liaising to piece the event together into a seamless experience for all. Our diverse expertise and willingness to volunteer in this capacity has made it all possible. We all feel incredibly proud of what we’ve created as a team!

This year will be just as special! We have a range of food trucks and market stall offerings for all your Christmas shopping! Elf Land will be set to entertain your little ones with inflatables, games, Christmas fairy helpers, a great toddler area, complimentary snacks and Santa himself! The parade and concert will be highlights of the event, with local DJs through to dance school performances and festive carols.

The weather is looking good, so head on down this Saturday afternoon and join the festivities 🎄👏

Names of scammer are ranging but this one is called Inbox Meta to try and fool you.
Had a pile this morning with threats panic the seller to provide your details by clicking on link. Don't panic or be fooled. Just block and delete

Facebook scam buyers are out and about
One named Maria and one named Roly in the last hour.

Here's the latest message - they both live in Napier and have a one month old baby lol. Don't you just love all the reassuring smiley faces.

If you get caught by a scammer please don't be embarrassed and not speak about it. Tell people how these scammers work.

Scammers message below:

Thats ok :) Is it possible to send it via NZ Post courier? (I have a discount) I will arrange the delivery myself and you just need to confirm everything, then you will get paid before the courier pick up 😊 The thing is, I live in Napier and can't go anywhere because I'm taking care of a one month old baby.
