We've opened up extra pointe fitting appointments next week while everyone's in town for NZSD Winter School!

Whether you're due for a new pair, need a refit, or want to make sure you're ready for classes, exams and competitions, now's the perfect time.

Highlights of our Pre-Pointe Workshops last weekend with 🩰

The feedback was amazing, we want more dancers, parents and teachers to be fixated on what it takes leading into pointe work for young dancers and everything to consider along the journey. If we are all educated, we see less young dancers in clinics with injuries!

When is the right time to go onto pointe? 🩰

For teachers - it’s balancing eager dancers and parent expectations.
For dancers + parents - it’s knowing if you’re actually ready… or just really keen.

We see it all the time: going up too early can lead to injuries and technique issues that are hard to fix later.

That’s why we’re running our Pre-Pointe Workshop with the amazing Georgina Barr Dance Health Consultant & Podiatrist - to give everyone the tools and confidence.
