A big thank you to Judgeford Golf Club for choosing us to supply their brand-new Kubota RTV-X1130!

What the cluck is going on here?

Quail Valley Free Range, a 40.5 hectare free-range egg farm in the Tasman region, recently added a new Kubota ZD1221 zero-turn mower to their operation to support year round maintenance of the farm.

During peak growth periods, maintaining grass at an optimal height of around 50mm is important fort hen health and helps minimise bacteria.

The mower's durability, reliability, and zero-turn manoeuvrability made it the ideal choice for efficiently navigating around the many trees that provide shelter for the hens throughout the seasons.

From demo to part of the fleet 👍

Plant & Food Research is a science‑driven organisation working to improve the way food is grown, fished, harvested, prepared, and shared, with a strong focus on sustainable practices across New Zealand’s primary industries. They've also been a long‑time customer of Norwood Hastings - a relationship that dates back to the early 2000s.

Our Hastings Service Manager, Myles, can recall working with Plant & Food's Orchard Manager, Peter Welch, during the early years.

When we took the Landini Rex 4 over for a demonstration, operator feedback was extremely positive: the spacious cab and significantly improved visibility were stand‑out features. The single‑piece bowed glass doors delivered exceptional all‑round visibility, which is a major advantage in their orchard operations. The simple, intuitive operator platform also allowed for a seamless transition to the new machine, minimising operator learning time and ensuring comfort from day one.

Peter acknowledged the good aftersales support provided by Norwood as a key factor in their ongoing partnership with the Hastings team and their confidence in the Landini brand.

A bloody big beast!

Cam and Amy were pumped to take delivery of this brand new Landini Landforce 125 brute of a loader tractor from Norwood Whangārei.

They’re a hard working couple on a Far North dairy farm and this tractor's first job after hitting the maize stack will be with their undersower.

Cam loves the HP, the reach, the ride comfort, the CCLS pump PLUS "it’s a ‘Bloody big beast aye!”

We can't argue with that 👍
