We recently had Gerry from Globe Theatre pop in to see us with something very special, the original brass plaque from the building opening ceremony and a second plaque when a second Auditorium as added.

He brought in the two solid brass plaques as they had become oxidized and tarnished, so had deteriorated quite badly over time.

These types of plaques hold a lot of meaning and are often used in significant ceremonies like building openings and memorials — so giving them a makeover every few years is important to keep them looking top notch.

This is exactly the kind of work that we also specialise in here at Trophy Specialists & Engraving—restoring and preserving pieces that carry history and significance. We even recreate exact replicas of plaques from time to time.

A big thank you to Gerry and the Theatre for entrusting us with these two special brass plaques. It’s a privilege to play a part in bringing them back to life 🙌

Another week has flown by here at Trophy Specialists & Engraving, and it’s been a busy one!
