NZ CARD COLLECTORS SHOW

Tomorrow a bunch of us and a bunch of our cardboard will be heading to the NZ Card Collectors Show in Porirua to engage in cardboard business!

That means that if you're in our store over that weekend to look at cards, you might find there to be markedly less of them to look at!

And if you find yourself down Porirua way, come say hi! We love a giveaway, so will be making a list of everybody who does! At the end of the show we'll take that list and throw it away because a lovely interaction is it's own reward!

KILL TEAM SLOW LEAGUE - SEASON 4

LAST CHANCE TO JOIN!

Kill Team is small-scale 40k: elite squad vs elite squad. Kill Team has more back-and-forth gameplay and each individual decision feels more impactful!

In our Slow League Tournament, each round is two weeks long, in which each pairing finds a time to play their game and report the result. It is such a convenient way to play the game (these old bones really value that) and meet our awesome community!

📆 Begins June 14th
💰 $30 for league entry
🏆 Store credit prizes

Registration closes end of day June 13th (TOMORROW!) and there are limited slots available, so get in quick!

A key feature of the Slow League are the "Gut Check" days, which are days where tables are reserved here in store to guarantee a space for games and to help make up for any missed rounds, these will be the last Saturday of each round.

There will be between 4 and 6 rounds (depending on number registrations).

One Piece TCG: Off-Meta Tournament

This Sunday, June 14th, at 1:00 PM, we’re diving back into the world of off-meta!
An Off-Meta Event involves banning the most popular and top-performing leaders, which helps stretch the ol' brain muscles as people find 'weak' leaders and build decks to push them to their limits!

This event is all about innovation! Pick a leader that we've (the global we've) have decided is suboptimal and prove everyone wrong by making a cool deck!

Board Games! We love them! And we love sharing them! With you!
To help fuel our board game sharing addiction, we have a fortnightly board game night every other Thursday at 6:00pm (on this week)! It's a great crowd and you'd be more than welcome.

Part of the night is giving you access to our library of board games, you are welcome to play them in store or rent them to play elsewhere!

And if there are specific games you are looking for, we'd love to hear about it! We are always looking to expand our range, so what better way than with recommendations from other board game fans?
