Expressions of interest!

We are bringing a brand-new Christmas market to the heart of Panmure on Saturday 12 December, and we want our local community to be at the very centre of it.

The focus of this market is celebrating handmade, craft, and vintage treasures. While we are partnering with an external coordinator to bring this destination event to life, we want to ensure our local talent, creators, and hobbyists have the first opportunity to shine—and we want to keep your participation costs as low as possible.

We are officially opening expressions of interest for two groups:

Stallholders: If you make unique handcrafted items, curate vintage goods, or have high-quality pre-loved items to sell. (Please note: we are partnering with our fantastic local Queens Road eateries for food and drink, so we are not looking for food trucks).

Performers & entertainers: If you are part of a local cultural group, a musician, a choir, or a performer who can help bring a vibrant, festive atmosphere to the day.

The event will be centred around the Panmure Community Hall, the library, and the surrounding carpark spaces.

If you want to be part of making this a true community celebration, please fill out our expression of interest form below.

Applications close on Friday 11 September.

This Saturday, 4 July, the team from Passion To Profession is hosting their student graduation showcase following an intensive five-week programme. These students have developed practical skills across music production, live performance, sound engineering, merchandising, and brand marketing.

Come down to Clifton Court between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm to support these emerging entrepreneurs. The graduation will feature local kai, merchandise stalls, a fashion show display, and live performances from SEVENTWO, LE, TAI EAST, KHARMAKAZI, and J-HU$TLE.

A significant acknowledgement must go to for stepping up to lead this initiative and driving community-led entrepreneurship in Panmure.

We look forward to seeing our business and residential community there to support these hard-working students.

Whīkoi Whenua – Stories of the Land

Discover the rich history of our local landscape with Whīkoi Whenua – Stories of the land, a series of guided walks by Ngāti Pāoa, exploring the unique stories of mana whenua in our area.

Supported by Auckland Urban Development Office, these walks offer an excellent opportunity to connect with the heritage of Panmure’s prominent natural landmarks.

The upcoming sessions include:

Maungarei ki Te Kai a Hiku (Mountain to Basin)
Sunday, 26 July | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Te Kai a Hiku (Panmure Basin)
Saturday, 4 July | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sunday, 9 August | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

These local initiatives align with our ongoing efforts to celebrate Panmure's unique identity and welcoming community spirit.
