And just like that… this sweet custom deer is all packaged up and on his way to his forever home 🦌🤎

There’s something extra special about making a custom plushie. You start with a pile of yarn, a hook, and a little idea — and slowly this tiny personality appears stitch by stitch.

This little one has been such a joy to bring to life, from his soft antlers to his speckled little face and squishy cuddly paws. I’m honestly a bit smitten.

He’s now tucked up safely and heading off to be loved, cuddled, and treasured — exactly as handmade friends should be.

Safe travels, little deer. ✨

A little quiet… but still here 🧶✨

I’ve been a bit tucked away from YarnsEnd this year — not because I stopped loving it, but because I needed a little breathing room after a disheartening end to last year.

Handmade business can be such a funny mix of joy, doubt, hope, overwhelm, and “why is this ear sitting weird?” energy 😅

But the yarn pile has been whispering again, and slowly… little friends are coming back to life.

I’ve not disappeared (yet). Just finding my way back to the magic, one stitch at a time.

An update on from my last post…

This sweet custom pup has officially made it to his forever home in Australia 🐾🤍

And I’ve now been told by his new little owner that his name is officially… Sausage 🥹

Even sweeter — today, May 8th, has been declared his official birthday 🎂✨

I absolutely love seeing my creations arrive in homes where they’re instantly loved, cuddled, carried around, and included in little tea parties 🧸☕️
