Happy New Year everyone — we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

As we begin the year, our office feels a little different. Kyle and I had a very sad end to 2025, saying goodbye to our beloved Jakey boy.

To everyone who stopped by the shop and gave him tummy scratches or treats — please know he loved every single one of you. We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful vet Brett at , and Jake’s groomer Kim from Papamoa. He trusted and adored you both.

Jakey’s fluff will still be floating around for a while yet, so his presence lives on. Let’s give a big shout-out to our trusty boy Jakey 💙

Kyle & Rach would also like to sincerely thank everyone who has sent messages and emails of condolence — your kindness has meant so much to us 🐾

Last day for servicing: Friday, 20th December 2024.

Awareness Time!

Are you thinking about selling your home? Have you checked that all appliances are in working order? It's important to ensure there are no missing parts, such as door closures, broken clips, or wheels on Dishwashers. Additionally, make sure your Oven or Cooktop heats correctly, Rangehood lights/fan working? Depending on your purchase agreement, these faults may need to be rectified before selling your home.

We want to make you aware of these potential issues because we are experiencing a shortage of parts due to the age of many appliances.

For example, today a customer called us to repair her double Wall Oven. The main oven door hasn't been closing properly for a couple of years. Now that she has sold her home, the Oven door needs to be repaired. Unfortunately, the oven door hinges are now obsolete and there are no alternatives for repair.

By addressing these problems early, you can avoid complications during the sale of your home.
