I have two projects on the go at present. Have been asked to upcycle a couple of bedside tables which belonged to a local establishment so can you just imagine the stories they could tell and also I have had the little wooden trug for many years so thought it was time for a makeover.

In the Piopio Pantry space alongside Tilly’s Treasures and Repurposed yesterday, Dale and I hosted a craft class with afternoon tea crafted by Sheryl. The ladies all took home their artwork on canvas. We showed them how to decoupage using various papers, use of chalk paint , stencilling and resin castings. Such a fun afternoon so hoping to host another day very soon.

Enamel ware is a must-see. Some cute items in original vintage condition and some delightfully upcycled items are available at Tilly’s Treasures. Open Wednesday and Thursday at Piopio Pantry. And yes that is a potty!!

Haven’t spent much time at Tilly’s Treasures this week as I was a bit ‘fluey’. This afternoon I finished an upcycled book which I started earlier in the week. Only two weeks until our craft class on the 7th June. Feel free to contact Dale or I if you are inspired to create a piece of art.

Tilly’s Treasures is looking fantastic this morning. Call in to Piopio Pantry to have a wee look and right next door to me is Dales little corner ‘Repurposed’. Surrounded by lovely decor items it is our home away from home along with all the lovely Piopio Pantry goodies cooking.
