Creating Opportunities for my boys
As a mother of 4 growing boys (aged 18, 13, 11 and 7) that love to represent their region for sports, I found it hard selling raffles, batons up tickets etc to the same family members. We all work hard for our money so thought due to my love of crafting and making things with my hands, I could make Poi to help out. Poi, moved to Poi Xmas decorations, then to Poi earrings.
I am born and bred in Porirua and I am a descendent of Ngati Toa, Ngati Raukawa, Ngai Tahu, Rongomaiwahine and Tuwharetoa.
Although we make mostly poi earrings, we are passionate about creating products that are eco-friendly with re-usable resources, such as bio-degradable bags, old pillow stuffing, and wool from Op-Shops or leftovers from friends and family
I am continually coming up with products to sell so please keep an eye out for new items being posted.
