If you haven't made it in yet, this is your reminder.

Star Mart closes Friday, so there are just a few days left for the kids to build their own Cosmic collectable before the holidays wrap up.

Free, indoors, and about 20 minutes of star-powered fun.

Matariki week is on at North City.

The Ngā Whetū Whakaora installation is up on the upper level, ready for your reflections and remembrance messages. Pop in any time this week to add yours.

Four days of free activities ahead:
Today: Weaving demonstrations
Tue 14 July: Wairākau tea tasting
Wed 15 July: Making pūtangitangi
Thu 16 July: Storytelling

Sessions run at 10:30am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, an hour each. Book ahead so you don't miss out.

Then on Fri 17 July we close with Ka Kai Tahi Tātou. Bring a plate of kai and share kai together.

From 10 to 17 July, Te Korowai Aroha brings a week of free activities to the upper level, right next to Fame Hair & Beauty.

At the centre of it all is Ngā Whetū Whakaora, a woven artwork that grows as people add to it. Write a reflection, a hope or a remembrance message and become part of something the whole community is making together.

Weaving, storytelling, tea tasting and more across the week. All free.
