Originating in what is now the Czech Republic, these celestial remnants traveled over 300 kilometers from the impact zone in Germany before settling on Earth's surface. Today, Moldavite remains a rare find, with only 1% of its original composition surviving and estimates suggesting less than 300 tonnes remaining, making it a thousand times rarer than gold or diamonds. While Moldavite can be found on the surface, the most prized specimens lie buried up to six meters underground in the Southern Czech Republic. For those drawn to its mystical properties, Moldavite offers a connection to the cosmos and a reminder of the Earth's remarkable history.
