Our last couple of days in Bali were spent in Jimbaran at Cross Bali Breakers which was the perfect ending to a stunning trip! Beaches were beautiful but could have hung out around the central pool or in our room with its own private pool and not gone anywhere. Superb food and live music on our last night. So good to catch up with Alli and John Allison Imhoof who were also in Bali and made the 1 hr taxi ride to join us for the night. Were having such a good time I forgot to take any pics of us 😫!!!
Early start for a 7am flight home.
What an awesome trip, thanks to our special friend Leeanne who booked and planned the whole trip LeeanneDurry - it was the best and great to do it with you guys. Where to next???? I can’t wait.
Home now and back to normal routines and my knitting!!! 🧶

What a treat!!! 2 nights at the fancy fancy Meru hotel The Meru Sanur - Just wow 🤩 stunning room, an incredible breakfast buffet, 2 huge swimming pools and breathtaking architecture. Had a glorious facial at the in house spa. Dinners and bintangs were had on the beach strip both nights. Such good food. Easy to overeat. Home to diet! 🤪 Love Bali, never want to leave

A mixed bag of pics from our wanderings and motorbike adventures around Lembongan and Ceningan islands. Sadly had to check out of paradise to head back to the mainland. Last crossing of the yellow bridge to get the fast ferry back to Sanur. 👋

Had 3 nights at this incredible glamping resort Sunset • Quality Food • 360 views ocean lounge on Ceningan island. Couldn’t fault it, incredible views, breathtaking sunsets 🌅, fabulous food and cocktails, amazing staff (that’s you Ari), live music, DJ at sunset, super comfy bed, stunning smelling linen, massages, motor bike adventures and martini espressos - everything perfect 👌

No apologies for being a few days late for posting our trip, we’ve been too busy enjoying Bali island life ☀️🍹🌴. Got into Sanur late evening after a delay at arrivals (long story about required visas and arrival cards through iVisa - warning ⚠️ do not use them, was totally ripped off but that’s a story for another day).
Spent most of the morning walking up and down the same road in Sanur in the unbearable heat looking for the dentist Dave had booked. Another long story 😝! Then a hairy ferry trip to the island of Nusa Lembongan. Disembarking was interesting to say the least. Then a bumpy truck ride through narrow broken up roads to get to the ‘yellow bridge’ linking Ceningan Island. Only wide enough for bikes and foot traffic!
After waiting too long for our hotel shuttle, we flagged down a taxi and finally got to our hotel. Wow, she’s certainly no easy road to reach paradise but we got there.

We’re off to Bali!!!! 🌴🍹☀️
Yay 🙌 but unfortunately that means the shop will be closed from today (17th) until my return on 28th June. If you make an online purchase during that time, I will send it out on my return. The Arrowtown Post Office will have stock!! So locals, please pop in there to get your supplies.
PS: I’ll post some pics of our trip on here if you’re interested (they won’t be knitting related 🤪 !!!)

We had an awesome couple of hours at Millbrook Resort yesterday, knitting and chatting together at the Hole in One cafe (who were so kind to host us) for International Knit in Public Day. Thanks to all of you who came out! And extra special to have talented knitwear designer from Kiniki Knits with us. A sister duo (twins actually), Niki lives here in Queenstown and Kim in Rotorua and together they have created a range of gorgeous patterns. Now stocked on knitone.co.nz and also at the Arrowtown Post & Telegraph Office - go and have a browse. Hope YOU got to knit somewhere in public too. Such fun!! Shouldn’t be only once a year! 😝
