The tiny imperfections. The brush strokes. The fingerprints. The details you might not notice at first glance, but that tell you someone’s hands have been here.

Handmade isn’t meant to be perfectly identical. That’s the beauty of it.

Every piece has been shaped, painted, stitched or created by someone who has poured a little bit of themselves into what they make.

And I think there’s something pretty special about owning something that no one else has quite the same.

Made slowly. Made thoughtfully. Made to be loved.

It feels fitting that, with today marking the beginning of spring, I share the beginning of a new chapter too

After a lot of thought, I have made the decision to put Gather & You up for sale.

She will officially be listed within the next week, but if you know someone who may be interested in taking on a happy little gift shop with the most beautiful community behind it, please ask them to get in touch with me.

While we wait to find the right person, absolutely nothing will change. You will still see me in the shop, bringing the same energy, passion and love to Gather & You that I always have. I’m in no rush finding the right fit for this special wee shop and its community is what matters most.

I have honestly loved being here and everything we have created together. Gather & You was never really just about the shop, it has always been about the people. The makers, the customers, the conversations, the connections and the wonderful community that has grown around her.

It may be the end of one chapter for me, but it will hopefully be the beginning of a very special new one for someone else.
