Meningitis can become life-threatening quickly, so knowing your vaccination options matters.

MenACWY and MenB vaccines are available in store at Unichem Rolleston Village Pharmacy. These vaccines are free for eligible 13–25-year-olds in their first year of close living, including up to 3 months before entering:

• Boarding school or hostel
• Tertiary education halls of residence
• Military barracks
• Youth justice facilities
• Prison

Flatting and other group living situations aren’t included in the free eligibility criteria.

Through Extended Pharmacy Services, eligible children under 14 can access funded pharmacist-led services and treatments for conditions including pain and fever, diarrhoea or dehydration, conjunctivitis, head lice and scabies.
Not sure if your child is eligible? Your pharmacist can assess whether an EPS service is suitable for them.
