Any fishing morning is great, caught up with Mike Murphy and Stephen Ross for a fish and breakie at Foxton no real rubbish fish yet, l managed a very large grey boy shark which l sent home with instructions not to come near my baits again. Was very pleasing seeing murph helping eke by carrying his kontiki for him looking forward to the next outing with the boys enjoy your weekend cheers Mike

Dribble (Roger) called into pick up some more of my kahawai bait, and show me his nice 3 snapper he caught today of his local beach between himatangi and tangimoana, Dribble said he only caught about 5 spinnys on each set and no red cod, so pretty good effort considering Dribble is using a 18 year old 30lb thrust non g.p.s seahorse kontiki

Bit of a late nite last night wife shouted me a ticket to the Pink Floyd experience amazing show. So l had few hours sleep then meet up with my mate Mike Murphy for a early morning fish we managed a nice feed of fresh fish each, and herb & garlic venison sausages for breakie with hot coffee, water still clean and no spinnys yet bring on the next fishing window on the manawatu coast line enjoy your long weekend

Went up to turakina with Phil for a demo, so l put the kontiki out managed a feed it was hard fishing, but breakie was good. Once got home dribble turned up to show us his couple of nice snapper he caught this morning at foxton with his nearly 20 year old non g.p.s kontiki well done Roger

Had a great overnite catch up with Baden Martin, Aaron Stead, Stephen Ross and Mike Murphy, l did 1 set yesterday afternoon with the pony express (seahorse S33) then 2 sets this morning with the mighty horse 🐎 (seahorse S60) plenty of nice fish my 2nd set this morning on 1st hook back in Had a 7.9kg snapper, as u can see from the photos the fish are definitely the bonus we had paua fritters smoked duck breast etc etc a few drinkies and lots of banter awesome fun

Me and eke and Allen went down foxton ways for a fish this morning. I had Blair Kingsbeer come along with his parents and there new Seahorse kontiki package they purchased through me l think they were very happy with the set of traces l gave them for purchasing the kit through me, Blair was very pleased with the big snapper that they caught, Allen Kilgour and Stephen Ross both caught awesome fish, was nice to catch up with Rylan as well he also caught some nice fish as usual we had a great breakie enjoy your weekend if ya get out for a fish cheers Mike

Young Rylan sent me these photos he went did couple of sets at foxton late avo early evening using my short traces, he was very pleased with the results 1 snapper just over 7kg, Rylan said no big toothy critters couple of spinnys & carpet sharks. Nice catch, his mum loves gurnard so he is going to try again 2morrow awesome mate good luck
