I followed my ‘yes’ and was part of the first ever Papua New Guinea Cacao adventure. Day one began at the Queen Emma Chocolate factory, where were we were welcomed with warm hugs and genuine hospitality into the cacao family. We were given a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at every step of the chocolate-making process - from the bean to the bar - setting the tone for an unforgettable journey 🤎🤎🤎

My recent trip to Papua New Guinea was a sacred journey to the roots of cacao and to self. A chance to meet the farmers, learn their stories, and truly understand where this sacred plant begins but also peeling back layers, reconnecting with my essence and reclaiming my power and inner truth. It was a deep dive into culture, connection, and spirit; a journey that shifted timelines and reset me on every level.

Eleven wonderful humans traveled together, laughing and crying side by side, each moving through their own transformation. We were lovingly guided by Oonagh Browne, who held space and supported everyones journey.

It’s both an art and a science - a process that brings out the complex flavours hidden within the bean while preparing them for the next stages of chocolate making.
