Aroha Stone (Piemontite Schist)
This stunning stone is found in South Westland and Central Otago NZ, it is a rare semi precious metamorphic rock known for its beautiful pink to deep purple hues and mica shimmer.
Its name derives from the Māori word for unconditional love Aroha.
