We have x1 light Sussex, x1 Red Sussex, x1 Coronation Sussex available. Not suitable for the pot - they have just been wormed and are under a meat withholding. Between 8 months - 18 months old.

Cockerels

💰 25.00 each.

We have x1 Barred Plymouth Rock, x1 Coronation Sussex, x1 Light Sussex. Between 4-6 months old, they have not started crowing yet.

Hoping to find a few of these lads forever homes, they are all respectful of electric poultry netting and have shown no signs of aggression. Please do not ask if I will sell for the pot, we have people who will take them for that already.

Light Sussex rooster

Is this lad of any use to anyone’s breeding group? His bone structure is a bit pinched for the breed, but putting him over the right hens could produce impressive offspring. He is beautifully marked and has a placid personality. 7 months old, so still has some filling out to do. Not for the pot, we already have people who will take him for that.

We have a couple of Coronation Sussex cockerels and a Light Sussex cockerel looking for greener pastures to roam. They are 4 months old and have submissive temperaments. We are not bothered if you want them for the pot, but you will have to finish growing them yourself.

This handsome lad is 1 year old and proven fertile. He is flightless and respectful of poultry netting. We have too many drakes, so need to move him along before hormones start to rise. We are not bothered if you want him for the pot, he is a big boy.

None are big enough to eat, if you want them for this purpose you will have to grow them out yourself. These young lads are 3-4 months old. None have crowed yet. The coronation Sussex and Buff leghorn are purebreds, they might make nice breeders for someone, not friendly but not overly flighty. Very respectful of electric poultry netting.
The crossbred hatched from a leghorn egg, it’s anyone’s guess who the father may be. Fair warning - he’s a nuisance. He doesn’t stay put and absolutely will come into the house if you leave a door open, then promptly panic and when he gets found. We are not overly hopeful he will find a home, but had to try!

X2 available. Must go together. 1 year old and finishing up their moult, not currently laying. The blue girl lays a blue egg, black girl lays a cream coloured egg. Not flighty, happy to stay behind poultry netting. They are 1/4 Barred rock, 1/4 Araucana, 1/2 leghorn.

Purebred 4 month old Gold duckwing Araucana pullet. We bought this young lass as an egg with intentions to breed more of these. Unfortunately she was the lone survivor of her brood so we have no one to put in a breeding pen with her. We will not sell her on her own, but are happy to find a similar aged pullet for her to move out with. She will lay a pretty Blue egg in the spring time.

X4 available. These ladies are between 2-3 years old. They are big and heavy girls. They are not friendly, but also not flighty. Easy to catch with a little bit of food on the ground. Happy to do a deal if you want all 4. Still have a couple of good laying years left in them. Not currently laying, but they usually start up again at the end of June.
