Sunset over Hinuera (new)
This sculpture is suitable for outdoors or ornamental placement. Imagine it as a conversation starter giving you the opportunity to describe both the symbolism and play on words in the title.
The Hinuera area on the road to Tauranga is the site of the quarry for Hinuera stone. This site is on an ancient path of the Waikato River with the stone originating from the Lake Taupo eruption.

Finds
Created from river stones and an old sea soaked fence post with Oamaru stone rings. Found on a trip from Hamilton to Gisborne in the North Island of New Zealand.

Often I wonder what makes something amazing. This is a piece of kauri gum which has been shaped and polished and then placed in the sun.
That’s amazing.

Inspiration comes from many sources. This sculpture was inspired by a drawing on a window. I called it lady of the lake.

What a couple of dishes. I took a triangular piece of Oamaru stone cut it in two and then created these dishes. Great as table centre pieces with many options for placing something on top.
