Tackle testing in the Hauraki Gulf a few weeks ago. Again the Halco Karcass Jig 200g worked well with a bit of added skirt.

Love the big hooks — keeps the small fish from hooking up and gives you confidence when a proper fish loads up.

Smaller skirt hooks can definitely create a few too many “oh no” moments 😅

More tackle testing to come later this week when wind drops! 🌬
