Starting a Bokashi bin with the Maze system is designed to be extremely simple, clean, and effective making it perfect for anyone looking to turn kitchen waste into nutrient-rich soil without fuss.
Here’s how easy it is to begin:
1️⃣ Set Up: Place your Maze Bokashi bin in a convenient spot in your kitchen. No tools or special installation needed.
2️⃣ Add Food Waste: Collect your food scraps (including fruit, veggies, meat, and dairy) and add them directly into the bin.
3️⃣​ Spray / Sprinkle Accelerator: After each addition, spray 2-3 spritz or sprinkle the Bokashi compost accelerator over the scraps to help start the fermentation process.
4️⃣ Seal and Repeat: Close the lid tightly to keep everything airtight. Repeat these steps until the bin is full.
