This is a vintage Dutch organ grinder's coin collection tin (historically known as a centenbakje or mansbakje). Street musicians used these specialized tins to collect coins from crowds while operating street organs.

Genuine red copper base with a half-lidded brass cover. Oval shape featuring the classic integrated finger-ring loop underneath/on the side, allowing it to be held securely in the palm.

8cm wide, 14.5cm long including handle.
