🤎 A bittersweet goodbye to Stratford, and the beginning of a new chapter for Kali Clay Studios. 🏺
After a beautiful couple of years in Taranaki, I have some big news to share — Kali Clay Studios is moving!
I’ll no longer be taking bookings at my Stratford studio. The studio will be closing its doors here in Taranaki, and in December 2026, Kali Clay Studios will come alive again in Ngātea, on the Hauraki Plains. ✨
I started Kali Clay Studios in 2024, right here in Stratford, with a little studio, a lot of clay, and a dream of sharing my love and knowledge of pottery with others. What followed has been so much more than I ever expected.
To everyone in the Taranaki community who supported me — thank you. 🤎
Thank you to every person who came along for a wheel class, a workshop, a wheel & w**e, a market, or simply stopped by to have a chat. Thank you for getting your hands covered in clay, making a mess, laughing, learning, creating and having fun with me.
You were a huge part of Kali Clay Studios becoming what it is today, and I will never forget the love and support I received in these early days.
The next chapter is going to be even bigger. 🌱
Kali Clay Studios will be operating from Ngātea from December, with a bigger studio, more space, and everyday pottery classes where I can continue sharing my knowledge, creativity and love for clay.
But before I leave Taranaki, I have one last market! 🥹🏺
📍 Finders Market — Fitzroy, New Plymouth
📅 18 October
Come along, say goodbye, have a yarn, and grab a piece from my latest collection before I pack up the Taranaki studio for good. 🤎
Thank you, Taranaki.
For the people, the memories, the muddy hands, the laughs, and for believing in Kali Clay Studios when it was just beginning.
This isn't goodbye to Kali Clay Studios — it's simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
See you in the Hauraki Plains. 🌿🏺
With love,
Kali Clay Studios 🤎
