A little appreciation post for Jan Francis

Janet is the owner of ArTaka Creatives and has created a space where local artists and makers can create, connect, and showcase their work. Running a creative shop is easy responsibility especially through the quieter winter months, so if you're in Tākaka town, please pop in, say hello, and show your support.

You'll find us in the big purple building behind the Courtyard Café. If you're lucky, you might even catch Mazarine in her art studio, busy creating and happy to share what she's working on.

Inside you'll discover original artwork, handmade jewellery, locally made creations, books, gifts, and so much more.

Janet also offers clothing and outdoor gear repairs and alterations, helping keep much loved items in use for longer.
