So....as some of you will know we were recently away on holiday in our little caravan, and while we got chatting with some of our fellow campers they asked what I do for a job....as you do!
Of course I said I'm a glass bead maker - what's that? They said.
So I showed them my little jewellery roll that I take away with me - just a few bracelets and earrings really, nothing much.....
They asked where they could buy my work, and it did make me think - well, if you're not a part of the big international groups, um...nowhere!
They gave me a little push to post my work here (I don't run a website anymore), so here we go!
Today's bracelet is one of my all time favourite and most popular designs - the Chakra Bracelet - with each colour representing the colour of the five major chakras of the body, according to Ayurvedic tradition - also closely aligned to the rainbow, if that's your jam.
These sell at NZ$300 and are finished with sterling silver findings including a quality loop and toggle clasp, which is extremely secure (if the bracelet fits you correctly), and my little sterling silver makers badge.
Payment would be via PayPal, and I would convert this to US$ (taking NZ Tax and US Tariffs into account), with postage being extra (to be determined)
This one is 22cms long (about 8.5 inches), but could be adjusted to fit (depending on how much, there may be an extra small fee for that)
