Our dual-zoned bed linen came about after needing cooling sheets in the middle of winter to help with menopausal night sweats, but my partner wanted warm sheets for his side of the bed as he wasn’t feeling the heat like I was 🤗.

After searching the internet for bed linen that would suit both of us and coming up empty handed, I designed the dual-zoned concept of sheets that combined both a cool and a warm side!

The beauty of our bed linen is that it is not just for women going through menopause, but is also perfect for ordinary couples who have different body temperatures. So many younger people I have spoken to told me that they are cold at night even in summer but because their partner was hot, they put up with summer sheets and had to layer up on the clothing. With our dual-zoned sheets they now have their own warm side of the bed while their partner is happy on the cool side. 😎

I just wanted to introduce myself to my FB followers and let you know a little bit about myself and my company.

My name is Tania Robinson and I came up with the idea of Second Spring Bed Linen 3 years ago when I couldn't find sheets that catered for my night sweats without having to resort to summer sheets in the middle of winter. My husband wanted winter sheets on the bed, while I was wanting/needing summer sheets. I searched the internet for bed linen that would cater to my wanting to stay cool, while allowing for hubby to stay warm.🥵🥶🛏️

It has been a steep learning curve over the last 3 years to say the least! I had never in my life thought of an idea to fill a gap in the market, and invented a product as a result.

I had to find a manufacturer that was on board with my unique design, find suitable eco-friendly fabrics and then go back and forth perfecting the design and style. Add to that organising shipping, customs, insurance, designing a website, couriers, packaging... and the list goes on and on. I am still perfecting the website, so please go easy on me 😊

Everytime someone takes a chance on my small company by purchasing a set of sheets that are a new concept to what people are used to, please know that you are supporting a small New Zealand start-up company and that each and every purchase brings joy to me, knowing that someone else in NZ is going to be able to experience these wonderful sheets. I pack the order, print out labels, organise for couriers to collect the orders to be delivered throughout NZ, so pretty much a one person show 🙂

I realise that these sheets are not the cheapest on the market, but they are bespoke 100% eco-friendly sheets and pillowcases, combining a warm and a cool side and as such, they are not cheap to manufacture like your ordinary run of the mill bed linen.
