How old is your helmet? They should be replaced every 3-5 years, or if they have come into contact with the ground in a crash! Most manufacturers have a post-crash replacement policy. My record for that was three rides before smashing my POC helmet crashing on the Cobb road!

Should you replace your helmet just because manufacturers say it’s time? How and when do helmets degrade?
