Any plans for Sunday 20 September? 🌿

Make your way to 165 Robinson Road, Motueka, and spend the day at the beautiful campus of Motueka Steiner School and Kindergarten for their annual Spring Fair!

Expect pony rides, puppet shows, the clucky hen, fairyland, medieval games, treasure digs, a second-hand clothes and book stall, a silent auction for the grown ups, live music and a whole lot of yummy food, all set against the school's gorgeous grounds. A lovely way to spend a Sunday and support the local school community.

Quick one before it goes in the bin: flip your plastics over 🔄 and check the number on the base. Tasman only takes 1, 2 and 5. Best to check with your local council, what they can recycle.
Anything else (even unmarked plastics) goes in the rubbish. Polystyrene isn't accepted either, but your local Mitre 10 New Zealand might take it back.

This year's Plastic Free July pledge is part of a world record attempt for the most people refusing single-use plastic in a single day. The idea is simple: choose one item, can be a plastic bottle, a takeaway cup, packaged produce etc and refuse it.

Small steps, repeated by enough people, genuinely shift things. EcoWarehouse has spent nearly twenty years helping Kiwi households cut back on single-use plastic, one swap at a time, and this campaign is exactly the kind of community effort worth backing.
