This barbless lure hook is ideal for streamers, muddlers, articulated flies and any other bulky style fly, with its wide gape, strait eye and heavy wire its well suited to the nz conditions.

This little pattern came about when I was mulling over the hanak h49xh hooks (long shank jig hooks for serious nz lures.

Fishing lures into snaggy submerged tree branches, over hangs or drop offs. Foweling the bottom is a real problem.
The h49xh from hanak solves this problem.
A long shank barbed lure jig hook gives you plenty of room to tie on and the jig style hook keeps you swimming point up.
Available in sizes #2- #6 this will be great on rivers or river mouths
