The next Community Marketplace is heading back to Timebank Community Garden on Saturday 26 September.

If you’ve been to one of our garden markets before, you’ll know the drill. Bring a boot full of things to sell, come ready for a bargain hunt, swap a bit of homegrown produce, or simply have a wander and see what’s turned up.

It’s relaxed, local, and never quite the same twice. No fancy setup and no pressure, just a good community market surrounded by the gardens.

📅 Saturday 26 September | 10am till 2pm
📍 Timebank Community Garden, 250 Spa Road, Taupō

Pop it in the calendar, or book a car boot space if you’d like to join us as a seller.

💚 A big thank you to our amazing volunteers! 💚

A huge shout-out to everyone who gave their time at our last Community Marketplace. 🙌

From helping set up and pack down, to supporting our stallholders, Community Kitchen and keeping things running throughout the day, your help makes such a difference.

These markets are all about community, and we simply couldn’t do it without the wonderful people who volunteer their time to make them happen. ❤️

Thank you for being part of it. We really appreciate you. 🌿

💚 A BIG THANK YOU TO COMMUNITY KAI!

A huge thank you to Awhina Society Trust - Taupō for the Community Kai and for all the milk powder to share through the Community Marketplace on Saturday. 🥛💚

Also, PAK'nSAVE Taupo Thank you so much for all the Bread. You're amazing!

It’s wonderful to pass on useful food to local families, and we really appreciate your support of what we’re trying to build here in our community.

🍋🌿 THE PRODUCE SWAP IS GROWING!

We also had some amazing local produce available to swap this week, thanks to Martys Microgreens, with lemons and rhubarb up for grabs.

It’s great to see the Produce Swap starting to take shape, and we’re looking forward to seeing how it develops over the next few months as more gardens start producing.

Share what you grow, swap what you have, and help keep good local produce moving around our community. 🌱💚

Not every Saturday needs a big plan. Sometimes a wander around the market is plenty.

There’s no set way to do the Community Marketplace. Some people come ready for a proper bargain hunt, while others just fancy a browse and a chat. Either way works. Bring the family, grab something to eat or drink, and see what’s turned up this month.

Pregnancy Help will be running our Community Kitchen too, helping raise support for the work they do with local whānau.

And there’s a pretty sweet way to help out. Bring along a packet of nappies or baby wipes and swap them for a delicious slice of cake. 🍰

📅 Saturday 12 September | 10am till 2pm
📍 Waipahihi Community Hall, 96 Richmond Ave, Taupō

No big plans needed. Just come along, have a wander, and see what you find.

There’s something nice about buying something directly from the person who made it.

You’ll find local makers among the stallholders at the Community Marketplace too, with handmade goods and plenty of creativity on the tables. Think candles, soaps, pottery, woven pieces, and other locally made finds. It’s a simple way to support someone local and take home something a little different.

Pregnancy Help will also be running our Community Kitchen this month, so grab something to eat or drink while you browse and help support the work they do for local whānau.

And don’t forget, bring along a packet of nappies or baby wipes and swap them for a delicious slice of cake. 🍰

📅 Saturday 12 September | 10am till 2pm
📍 Waipahihi Community Hall, 96 Richmond Ave, Taupō

Come for a wander, support local, and see what catches your eye.

That drawer unit you were about to get rid of? Someone else might see a weekend project waiting to happen.

There’s always a good mix of upcycled and repurposed finds at the Community Marketplace. Old furniture given a new coat of paint, fabric turned into something completely different, or useful bits and pieces saved from being thrown away. If you like giving old things a second life, it’s well worth a browse.

Pregnancy Help will also be running our Community Kitchen this month, so grab something to eat or drink while you’re there and support the work they do for local whānau.

You can help out another way too. Bring along a packet of nappies or baby wipes and swap them for a delicious slice of cake. 🍰

If your garden’s gone feral and you’ve got more cabbage than one household needs, we’ve got a spot for that.

There’s a produce swap table at the Community Marketplace where you can bring along what you’ve grown too much of and swap it for something else. Herbs, veges, preserves, seedlings, or whatever’s doing particularly well at your place right now. No money needed, just bring what you can share and see what’s on the table.

Pregnancy Help will also be running our Community Kitchen this month, with food and drinks available while you wander around the market.

You can support them another way too. Bring along a packet of nappies or baby wipes and swap them for a delicious slice of cake. 🍰

📅 Saturday 12 September | 10am till 2pm
📍 Waipahihi Community Hall, 96 Richmond Ave, Taupō

Bring what you’ve grown, grab some cake, and take home something new.
