It’s been a while since we’ve done an update — we’ve been a bit under the pump lately, with plenty happening around the workshop.

Here’s a look at one of the jobs we finished up last week. 🏁

This Stockcar came into the workshop for a ready-to-race EFI package, including supplying and fitting the EFI components, plumbing, chassis modifications, fabrication work and wiring. We also organised the dyno and got everything sorted and ready to hit the track.

We’ve also developed this billet water outlet housing as part of the package, and we’re looking at doing a run of these.

We’ve been supplying EFI components here and there over the last few seasons, and are now working towards offering looms, ECUs, tuning and other components as a more complete package for Stockcars. If that’s something you’d be interested in, flick us a message and let us know. 🔧🏁

🔧 End of another busy week in the workshop!

This Holden V6 has been in for a refresh, with the opportunity to squeeze a little extra horsepower out of the package while it was apart.

The cylinder heads have had a little extra attention, including tidying up the chambers, fitting an oversized intake valve, a fresh valve job, a little more port work, and a final surface grind to achieve the desired compression ratio.

The short block has also been refreshed with a hone, new rings and bearings, and is now assembled, ready for the heads to be fitted.

Looking forward to getting this one finished up and seeing what sort of extra power it makes. 🏁

🔧 18 months in the making.

I couldn’t help but share this one. Once everything came back from anodising and the gearbox was finally assembled, I was pretty impressed with how good it turned out.

We’ve been quietly developing and refining this Raptor gearbox package with a focus on strength, reliability and serviceability.

There’s still more testing and development planned for next season, but it’s exciting to finally start sharing some of the progress.

🔧 A variety of cylinder heads on the go in the workshop at the moment! 🏁

Alongside our regular speedway classes & engine combinations, we’re now working with engines from the Super Saloon class. These Chevy combinations are a new venture for us and it’s been great to get involved with something different while continuing to expand the range of race engine work coming through the workshop. 💪⚙️

These heads are just one part of the process, with plenty more happening behind the scenes as the engines move through their builds. 🔩🏎️

🔧 Quick Change Diff Servicing

If you didn’t know, here at RH Engines & Performance we service and repair quick change diffs. We’ve had a bunch roll through the door over the past few weeks getting repaired. ⚙️🚗

A basic service can save your diff! We strip them down and check gears, bearings, backlash and seals to make sure they’re solid and ready for the season. 🏁🔥

Well, well… it looks like it’s been another three months since my last update! 😅

It’s been a busy Christmas and New Year period here at R.H. Engines & Performance 🔧 — plenty of repairs and maintenance going on, from the usual diffs and gearboxes ⚙️ right through to running repairs on customer cars 🏁. We’ve even had a fresh engine build added into the mix over the break as well 🔥🛠️

One of the most exciting projects lately, though, has been getting our own car back up and running with one of our Toyota engine packages 🚗💨. The first initial outings have been really promising ✅, and we’re looking forward to continuing to develop and improve the package as the season goes on 📈.

This engine will also be available at the end of the season ⏳, so if you’re looking for a proven Toyota option, feel free to get in touch 📩.

Wild how fast the last 3 months flew by! (Sorry for lack of updates)

The off-season has been packed with engine refreshes, upgrades, and a couple of new builds 🔥🔧

The long days and late nights 🛠️💪 are finally starting to make sense — seeing the results and hearing the feedback from customers and tuners has made it all worth it 🙏
