‼️UPDATE ~ MY HUN 🎸🌲☕ Today I share this deeply personal Luv Note with immense gratitude to beautiful Terri, whose courage and open heart allowed her love story with Joe to be shared with the world. 🤍

Terri graciously gave me permission to post this deeply private and heartfelt tribute in the hope that it may comfort others walking through grief, and inspire people to preserve the stories, voices, and essence of those they love through music.

Legacy songs are deservedly longer than a “normal” song … because a whole life, a whole love story, simply cannot fit into three minutes. These songs are memory keepers. Soul archives. Love letters stitched into melody. ✨

Thank you, Terri, for trusting me with something so sacred. Your love for Joe radiates through every lyric.

MY HUN 🎸🌲☕ Some stories are too big for ordinary words.
Terri & Joe’s love story became a Luv Notes memorial song … a woven tapestry of 34 years + filled with laughter, hard work, pine trees, bushman boots, late-night coffees, forgotten anniversaries, rock’n’roll, and a love that still echoes beyond this world.

From a chance meeting at the local fish & chip shop to final whispered words of love, this song honours Joe’s larger-than-life spirit and the deep connection he shared with Terri.

Reading Terri’s beautiful review touched my heart deeply:

“This song was created for me by Jo Carter of Luv Notes, it captured the strength, love and the quiet sacrifices of my husband Joe. Expressing companionship in a very touching way. A sincere tribute to partnership, loyalty and enduring love. The melody compliments the emotion perfectly. I would recommend Luv Notes to anyone going through grief at any stage.” ~ Terri

Creating these songs is more than music. They become memory lanterns ✨ carrying voices, love, humour, and stories forward for generations to hold close.

Terri, thank you so much for your kind words. 🤍
It was truly an honour to walk beside you in creating this tribute for Joe. I could feel the love, laughter, loyalty and deep friendship woven through every memory you shared. He was clearly a one-of-a-kind man with a huge spirit and an even bigger heart.

Creating Joe's song felt like stitching together little pieces of your life together … the coffees, the bushman boots, the humour, the quiet sacrifices, and the everlasting love that still surrounds you.

Thank you for trusting me with something so precious. Sending you the biggest hug and so much love. 🤍✨

🪶🎶💞 Some songs are written with melody…
This one was written with love, grief, sunrise coffees, butterflies, Tennessee Whiskey, and the ache of missing someone whose fingerprints remain on your soul forever. It was my honour to create this song for Bern ... thank you.🌅🦋

“TWO Hearts Forever Entwined” is a tribute from Bern, to her beautiful Dad, Joe (Joseph Hastie).
A bushman. A tinkerer. A hunter & fisherman. A jack of all trades. The legendary “Timberland Terror.” A man who could fix absolutely anything … except the fact that time was slipping away too soon.
Joe transitioned peacefully on Wednesday 20th September 2023, with Tennessee Whiskey softly playing as he took his final breath and smiled into the next adventure. Bern was blessed to be by his side in that sacred moment.

This song carries their sunrise coffee mornings, his old sayings, the laughter, the garage chaos, the butterflies, the ocean between Australia and New Zealand, and the invisible thread between this world and the next.

Dad called me “sweetheart.”
And I’d give absolutely anything to hear him say it one more time.

When I look in the mirror …
I still see our sunrise in my eyes. ☀️

I love you, Dadda.
Always will.
TWO hearts forever entwined. 🤍

AVOCADO ALCHEMY 🥑✨Luv Wraps
This shroud was dreamt into being using only natural fibres … muslin, grounding calico, and humble jute … each thread chosen for its quiet return to earth.

The warm blush tones are not from a bottle, but from the alchemy of avocado skins and stones … slow-dyed, sun-kissed, and coaxed into colour by nature’s own hand. No two dye pots ever speak the same language, which means this piece carries a hue that will never be repeated … not copied, not recreated … a true one-of-one.

Every fold, every binding, every botanical whisper woven through it tells a singular story. This is not just a burial shroud … it is a moment in time, captured in cloth. A piece that will only ever exist once.

For those who feel the call for something deeply personal, earth-honouring, and quietly radiant … this is it.

Wrapped with LOVE. Returned to NATURE 🌿

If this piece is calling to you, you’re welcome to PM me for purchase details 🤍

***The bouquet is removable and not suitable for green burial due to its wire armature. Designed as a forever bouquet to keep and treasure.
