I recently had the pleasure of customizing the bottle label for a little boy who has a fear of rainbows, as well as monsters.

Yes, kids generally grow out of such fears but the process can be tough for them and their caregivers.

For one of my kids it was two giant bears who used to visit her room. They would terrify her and there was no reasoning with her that they weren't real or couldn't hurt her. She needed multi dimension support.

I wonder what fears other people's kids have had? Do share if you are happy to below ⬇️.

The Monster Spray story

It all began when I offered to give away the remainder of my daughter's Monster Spray (my homemade brew) on a page to any interested mums in my community.

I had used the Monster Spray to help support my daughter's sleep and tackle her fear of two bears who used to visited her room repeatedly. It helped us through these night terrors/nightmares, and we came out the other side.

I was overwhelmed with faceook responses requesting that each be considered for the gifting, but also by a number of parents encouraging me to start a small business so that they and others could benefit from Monster Sprays too.

So I did. I started, and I have started small. I wanted to make a product that I was proud of. I source good quality essential oils and blending ingredients to create a natural therapeutic room spray. I package these in amber glass bottles to protect and preserve the active ingredients (necessary to keep essential oils stable). I created a child-friendly label so that the individual child can feel a sense of ownership and control in spraying their room before bedtime.

The Monster Spray sleep aid contains lavender oil, to calm and relax, ease sadness and tension. And sweet orange oil to reduce stress and anxiety, help breathing and digestion and promote sleep.

The spray is intended to support a holistic approach to individuals needs. It is not intended to replace treatment or medical advice in such cases that people are on prescribed treatment.
