HOUSIE TICKET NUMBERS: WHAT DO THEY ALL MEAN? ๐Ÿ‘€ The VERIFICATION NUMBER

On the far right-hand side of the ticket.

IMPORTANT For single tickets (not game books) to use this number to record and collate the number of tickets sold.
(ie. Verfication number 1 - 100 = 100 tickets sold)
๏ฟฝ**For recording of game books. Refer to the Book Number.

When playing housie, there is usually a price per ticket, so understanding how many tickets sold can help work out your total prize money pool.

THE REAL BONUS If using our Powercall or Ezycall electronic calling software this number is entered into the system to verify a winning ticket - simply press the letter the V and the number that follows; the ticket will then display on the big screen showing any numbers that have been called and if it is a winner or not. Easy!

HOUSIE TICKET NUMBERS: WHAT DO THEY ALL MEAN? ๐Ÿ‘€ The BOOK NUMBER

This is on the left-hand side of the ticket that is part of a game book.

*a game book has multiple pages each a different colour to represent each game.

To avoid duplicates, no books with the same book number should be sold in the same session.

A BOOK NUMBER IS IMPORTANT for recording and collating the number of books sold.
(ie. Book 1 - 100 = 100 books sold)

When playing housie, there is usually a price per book, so understanding how many books sold can help work out your total prize money pool.

Only found on a game book - directly after the serial number. A game book has multiple pages, with each page a different colour.

Each page represents a new game. Each page has a page/game number.

We sell game books with 5 pages, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 pages depending on the number of games you want to play in a session.

When playing Housie the caller will announce the page number and ticket colour so players know what game is being played.

Housie ticket numbers: What do they all mean? ๐Ÿ‘€ First up: The SERIAL NUMBER

Itโ€™s usually found on the far left of the ticket and is unique to that ticket series.

As an example most housie tickets we sell have 12,000 unique tickets - meaning that out of 12,000 tickets no tickets are the same.

Every 12,000 tickets printed is called a โ€œseriesโ€. Each series has their own unique serial number.

If running a housie session it is important to record the serial number to know what tickets are sold when.
